My prep for this competition has been so different from my other two shows, mostly because I decided to put it together myself! I recruited my husband Dragomir, and also men’s bodybuilder Enrique Gonzalez for coaching and support.It has been amazing; heavier lifting, as well as varying my cardio between steady state and HIIT. My goal for the year was to build up better muscle coverage. I naturally have a curvacious figure, so I think this muscular feminine combo look will be pretty great to see.
Lift Heavy! Dead lifts, sumo squats, step-ups, smith machine leaning squats, split squats, resistance band side steps, and HIIT. Think about each movement and focus on squeezing your glutes. Keep the pace quick. Also, eat your protein to build that booty! (At least 1 gram for every pound of body weight). Secret: Neoprene shorts help to tighten your tush during workouts 😉
